Chancel Choir & Christian Ed
Chancel choir will start rehearsing on September 20th at 8:15 AM. We hope that anyone who likes to sing will join us! We will sing during worship on Sunday, September 27th and once each month thereafter. The rehearsals are before church services. The songs aren’t difficult and we enjoy lots of great fellowship! Sunday School starts again on Rally Sunday, which is September 13th, right after the Children’s Message. We will continue to have Sunday School every Sunday again this year with lessons from Sparkhouse. We welcome any children from age 3 through 5th grade to join us in Sunday School. Lessons include stories from the bible, crafts, games, videos, and just plain fun! A rotation of teachers will continue to teach this year and if you feel the calling to help out, please contact Morgan, Theresa, Grace, Shawn, or the church office.
The informational meeting for confirmation will be on Sunday, September 13th right after the church service upstairs in the Youth Room. Please bring your calendar as the sign-ups for Acolyte, Tech, and Sunday School helper will be available. Our first class will be Sunday, October 4th right after the church service. We will continue to meet the first and third Sunday for approximately an hour. Remember to bring your bibles to each class.
We have three confirmands being confirmed on Sunday, October 25th during the church service, Cara Brinkmeier, Diem Gronewold, and Jonah Schubert. I encourage the confirmation class to attend church to support our fellow classmates.
The Kids Klub will return this Fall! They will meet at St. John’s on the first Thursday of each month beginning on Thursday, October 1st. They will walk everyone over to St. John’s right after school and meet until 5:00 PM. More information on details and registration forms will be available soon!
