The Women's Gathering is an organization of Women dedicated to seeking Christ through Bible Study, Fellowship and Service.

¨ Collect Baby Wipes for Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard
¨ Donate/help at Pearl City Food Pantry
¨ Work with families for funeral luncheons, if desired
¨ Participate in Lutheran World Relief Projects
¨ Bible Studies and Fellowship on the 3rd Tuesday of each month (September-May) at 9:45 AM in Luther Hall.
¨ Involved in Caring Hearts
¨ Plan/lead a worship service
¨ Provide Gift Certificates to Needy Families for Christmas Gifts for each member of the families.
¨ Participate in retreats, conventions, dinners at St. John’s, Northwest Conference, Northern Ill. Synod & Triennial.
¨ Lots more & lots of fellowship & fun!!! Join us!!!
*Women’s Gathering has dish cloths for sale. They are $1.50 each. Contact the church office or Lynda Palmer if you are interested.
*Prayer Shawl Outreach will meet on Sunday, October 4th. Start a shawl/quilt or work on one already started. Someone will be available to help.
*We have been asked to host the NW Conference Women of the ELCA Retreat. The Board decided to host the Spring Retreat on Tuesday, April 20, 2027 at 9AM. (replace our monthly bible study.) Program to be decided.
*Thank you to everyone who attended the Women’s Gathering Ladies Night Out and Annual meeting on August 11th. Thank you to the Board (Kris Eden, Lynda Palmer, Kathy Hillmer, Janet Ferguson, Lee Frey, Doris Kness, and Karen Bremmer) for organizing, preparing, and serving the dinner. Thanks also to Kathy Hillmer for the wonderful Celebrating America 250 years decorations!
*The next Women’s Gathering bible study and meeting will be on Tuesday, October 20th. The Board will meet at 8:30 AM and fellowship and coffee will start at 9:45 AM. The bible study will begin at 10 AM and will be on “Choosing loyalty, finding love”. It will be led by Karen Bremmer and snacks will be provided by Carla Personette and Lois Hunsaker. Sit N Sew will begin at 11 AM. Bring a sack lunch! Please invite others!
*Women’s Gathering invites the congregation/guests to eat out together. The next one will be on Sunday, October 4th at Imperial Palace in Freeport at 11:30 AM. Please sign up in the lobby by September 27th. Car pooling will be set up!
*All women and guests are invited to the NW Conference WELCA Fall Gathering on Tuesday, September 29th at St. John in Massbach. Registration at 12:30. Program “Delta II” a popular acoustic band performing gospel, country, pop and classic rock n roll at 1:00. Light refreshments following the program. $10 fee due by September 22nd forms on lobby bulletin board. carpooling can be organized.
