Several members of the call committee attended a synod zoom meeting outlining a new initiative called Crossroads. The synod would like all congregations, not just congregations in transition, to implement this program. It calls congregations to discern the direction of their churches in the present and the future. Grace Heimerdinger-Baake and Pastor Len viewed the recorded session. It was decided to bring this information to council. Council approved using this program with Pastor Len and the call committee leading it. The call committee will meet with Pastor Len on September 9th to discuss ways of implementing the discernment process. There will be more information going to all members about the program in the near future.
